Sundance Film Festival recently announced eight documentary world premieres at the film festival held in Park City Utah January 19th-29th 2012. The festival is one of the biggest independent film festivals in the USA. Numerous documentaries have premiered at Sundance throughout the years and received great attention, traveling to film festivals world-wide afterwards. Some of this years docs included The Greatest Movie Ever Sold (dir. Morgan Spurlock), Bobby Fished Against the World (dir. Liz Garbus), Project Nim (dir. James Marsh) and The Black Power Mixtape 1967–1975 (dir. Göran Hugo Olson), to name a few. List of this years doc premieres can be seen here. Trailers seem hard to find but following is a trailer for The D Word: Understanding Dyslexia a documentary about Dyslexia directed by James Redford.
