Slovakian Batman

Arsy Versy or upside-down in English (dir. Miro Remo, 2010) is short documentary about a Slovak man, Lubos, who lives with his elderly mother. Lubos is fascinated with bats. Big time. He also has passion for photography and filmmaking and his main hobby is to photograph bats in their natural habitat. Lubos’s mother is worried about what will happen with her son when she will pass away. She is well aware that some people find him a bit  eccentric and is worried he will never find a wife.

This comic documentary had been screened at numerous International film festival and won several awards. The film can be watched for free on Remo´s Vimeo website – also in this post. The photo above is a still frame from the film and one of Lubos’s photographs.
