Docs & Film Festivals is a website about documentaries and film festivals. The website is for documentary and film festival enthusiasts, filmmakers and other professionals in the film industry … basically everyone interested in documentaries.

The founder and owner of Docs & Film Festivals is Brynja Dögg Friðriksdóttir, based in Reykjavík, Iceland. I have worked in journalism and TV in Iceland for more than six years as journalist, VJ, assistant producer and news editor. I´ve a BA in Social Anthropology and diploma in media and journalism from University of Iceland and MA in television documentary production from Salford University, UK.

I´m also programmer & press officer for Reykjavík Shorts & Docs Festival. The festival will be held the 9.-16.th of May 2013 and during the festival I will post news and updates on both Docs & Film Festivals website as well as the official festival website; http://shortsdocsfest.com/
